Aspendos Roman Theatre– an old charm of Turkey
 
Aspendos, located in the Pamphylian plain with a distance of 47 kms to the east of Antalya is a legendary place founded by colonists from Agros-Greece after their return from the Trojan war. Probably, Aspendos Roman theatre which is famous for its impressive architecture, is the stage for many cultural and classical artists. Its visit is well worth mainly when combines with a trip to the Hadrian’s gate and Roman Harbour in the Antalya city itself.
 
 
 
As per the legend, Aspendos Roman theatre is still of the same use that was at the time of the Roman rulers which was constructed in 2nd C, A.D by a skilled architect Zenon. Visit it once and feel the beauty of this ancient ruin which is not found elsewhere.
